Sewing Classes

Beginner classes are for anyone new to sewing who would like to learn the basics. Also, great for anyone returning to sewing after a break, needing a refresher.

I’ve created the Beginners+ category because I know that many people don’t see themselves as an intermediate sewer. These classes are for people who can thread up a sewing machine but haven’t yet ventured into dressmaking. Perhaps you have done a bit of patchwork or crafting projects but not yet confident to follow a pattern, or it’s been a long time since you have sewn but need some guidance.

Intermediate classes are for those who are already familair with threading up a sewing machine & have a couple of projects under their belts & ready to tackle more complex projects

Advanced classes are for those wanting to challenge themselves & learn more about pattern drafting, fit & some more involved sewing techniques. Think tailored jackets, jeans and couture techniques

I have been making YouTube videos since April 2020 (@Frugalisama), demonstrating how to sew on a budget, using free patterns, with tons of ideas for upcycling, mending & caring for handmade clothes.
